Our radio workshop is putting together a brief music programme. One generated song has a busy ending, and the spoken introduction follows immediately. I want to check the programme layout before making changes to the song itself. Leaving a small gap is an option, with a possible cost to the pacing. Alternatively, I could delay the voice and let the ending finish naturally. The texture has prompted me to read about suno shimmer in this context. I still need to judge our particular passage by listening at a consistent level. Has anyone compared a clean gap with a gentle fade for this kind of handover? We can record two versions of the transition and listen away from the editing screen, using the same playback level so that the louder option does not automatically seem clearer. I want the presenter to remain intelligible while the musical ending keeps its character.
I am sorting a folder of generated song drafts that accumulated over several months. Repeated titles and vague filenames make it difficult to tell which export belongs to which version. Before changing anything, I want to keep the original files and write down what each revision is meant to address. One phrase I searched for was remove suno artifacts but I still need to compare the actual recordings before judging a revision. Is a folder structure, a filename convention, or a spreadsheet easiest to maintain over time? A format conversion should be easy to tell apart from a revision to the sound. For each file I can record the export date, source version, format, and reason for keeping it. I would rather maintain a small useful record than a complicated system I stop updating. A practical naming example that remains understandable a year later would be helpful.
